MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL

Manukau Leisure Services issued a Request for Proposal for the supply of cardiovascular fitness equipment in 2004.  After a robust selection process Life Fitness was awarded the supply contract for a three year term.  During this period they have met all contractual obligations and exceeded our expectations in terms of service standards and response times.

Given our overall satisfaction with both the company and the Life Fitness product, an extension to the contract for a further three year term was signed.  The contract was expanded to include the supply of strength equipment.

Fundamental to our requirements when selecting a supplier were a combination of the development of a preventative service plan and the quality/functionality of equipment.  Over the years both the staff and members have been very happy with the Life Fitness product and the service plans have ensured the equipment is well maintained, the product life is maximised and any down time is kept to a minimum.

During the period of this contract an excellent relationship has been developed.  I have found them to be an innovative company, entirely professional and very focused on customer service.  Recently they have assisted with the floor plans and equipment advice on two new facilities; the Otara Fitness Centre and the Half-Moon Bay Fitness Centre.

I would be more than happy to recommend that they be considered when selecting a supply arrangement for quality fitness equipment.

Life Fitness makes a very high quality reliable product and this has been an integral part of our success.  They have excellent backup service and their Preventative Maintenance Contract has resolved so many problems we used to have.  Their team has a great attitude.
